Introducing Ian
Hi everyone,
First a quick introduction. I’m Ian and I’ve just joined dxw as the new Account Manager.
I have a varied background mostly in creative geekery and training. Highlights include, seven years at Apple in both sales and training roles as well as two years technical consultancy and support for an arts charity. Recently I spent two years working in further education initially directing and then supporting the Interactive Media provision. My specialist subjects were web and graphic design, 3d modeling and the history of video games.
Secondly if you picked up today’s edition of The Times you’ll see that it features Raconteur’s sixteen page ‘Public Sector Technology’ report. It offers useful insights into how technology is transforming the public sector. Covering the shift to digitally delivered services, the pros and cons of Digital by Default and cost savings possible, it makes an interesting read. You can read it on Raconteur’s website.
We’ve been involved in lots of projects where the topics in this report were particularly relevant. I’m looking forward to getting to know our clients over the next few weeks and aiding them in delivering even more innovative digital services.
