A new head of research at dxw
We’re thrilled to announce our latest addition to the dxw team – Head of User Research, John Waterworth.
John joins us from central government where he was head of the cross-government user research community. His work was to improve user research practices across government and build the growing community of user researchers in departments and agencies.
John’s appointment will help develop our existing and fast-growing user research team whose work is central to each of our client projects and who enable us to align our services with the core needs and goals of our users.
Our user research team’s strength rests in a diversity of backgrounds – including a human-computer interaction specialist, a human factors engineer, and a former content and product manager. John’s expertise heading up central government’s research community will strengthen the research capability of dxw and provide strategic leadership.
The new role is part of our growth strategy: having grown 30% year-on-year since 2015 and having recently announced the opening of our second office in Leeds.
We’re looking forward to welcoming John next week and we wish him all the best in his new position!
